What is the Unified Web Presence (UWP)?

The UWP program is focused on creating a cohesive and user-friendly web experience that best reflects the GW brand spirit. Our focus is on supporting University web owners and stakeholders in reaching this goal by:

• Understanding and creating a web design system
• Developing associated training, tools and processes
• Establishing online policies, standards and guidelines
• Understanding and fulfilling web needs

In partnership with University Web Services (UWS, a unit of the Division of IT), the Online Strategy & Experience group (a unit of External Relations) oversees the Unified Web Presence program.

Our Current Initiative

We are currently in the process of migrating sites from legacy platforms into our GW Drupal CMS.
